Bangla Waz has been made famous by Allama Delwar Hossain Sayedee. In the field of Bangla Waz, Allama Sayedee’s contribution is uncomparable.
He first started in the 70s. Later it took the form of Tafsir Mahfil. Right after independence, small bangla waz mahfils were organized in the villages. In Dhaka 1989, Allama Sayeede’s Bangla Waz Mahfil was first recorded by CHP. For 20 years, CHP has single handled and consistently recorded Allama Sayeede’s Bangla Waz
